The Stand for the Family Conference organized by Family Watch International will be held on Friday, September 19th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Utah Valley Convention Center in downtown Provo.
To kick off the conference and to show strong public support for marriage, fathers, mothers and children we will also be holding a rally at the Utah State Capitol Building the evening before the conference on Thursday, September 18th at 7 p.m.
Prominent organizations co-hosting the conference and rally include Celebration of Marriage, Worldwide Organization for Women, the Ruth Institute, and the National Organization for Marriage.
The Stand for the Family Conference will inform participants regarding the benefits of marriage and family to men, women and children and how we can best defend and protect the family as the fundamental unit of society. Those who attend the conference will come away with a greater understanding of why marriage and family are essential to a successful society and how to defend the family effectively in private and public discourse.
The conference will feature internationally and locally known experts on the family including Patrick Fagan of the Family Research Council, Dawn Hawkins of Morality in Media, Robert Oscar Lopez and Jennifer Roback Morse.
